In the summer of 2020 I hosted a virtual workshop, where 12 participants gathered to learn a brief history of type design, then used a free tool to build their alphabets.
I later assembled a type specimen containing participants’ work and conversations about lower-case and upper-case R revolutions. The publication is folded so that each spread brings two different voices together, and can also be deconstructed into individual posters, which were wheatpasted around the city.
